Cecil Douglas Smith, 71, born in Pembroke, Ontario, died on Thursday, October 18, 2018 after a short stay at the West Parry Sound Health Centre.

Survived by his wife Leslie, their children Eric and his wife Kim Gravelle, and Robin and her husband Tim Shutt; grandchildren Katherine and Nathaniel; siblings Susan and her husband David DePoe, Grant and his wife Mary, Candace and her husband Jim Ball; in-laws Niki and Jim Warrington, and Hendrik Schaink, husband of the late Frances. Also remembered by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cecil leaves behind many friends from his years of teaching and volunteering in Parry Sound.
