CAROL POLLARD
Carol Francis (West) Pollard of Parry Sound, Ontario, passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, surrounded by family on Friday, June 28th, 2019. Age 85 years.
Carol is predeceased by her husband, Gordon, sons, Mitch Martin (Susan), Paul Martin (Arlene) and step-son Andrew. She is sorely missed by her step-children, Bruce (Elisa), Laurel, Joan (Louise), Chris (Lisa) and William (Helen). Lovingly remembered by her siblings, Ken (Jennie), Bob (Gert), Jack, Dennis (Fran), Arnie (Rose), Glenna (Tom), Patti and Danny (Joslyn). Predeceased by Doug, Winnie, Mark, Vern, Jerry, Glen and Ted. Dearest friend and sister-in-law for more than 60 years to Joan West and Neila Bergman. Special Grandma to Jamie, Jennifer, Philip, Tyler, Marliina, Tomas, Stephen, Matthew, Laura, Anna and Mary. Great-grandma to Taylor, Leland, Adriana, Walker, Breccan and Carter.
The Pollard and West families would like to thank the nurses, doctors and all the staff at the West Parry Sound Health Centre for their wonderful care and compassion. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre would be appreciated.
Visitation will take place at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound (705-746-5855), on Monday, July 15th, from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M., and at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, July 16th, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
A Service in Celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 16th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Reception to follow.
