Carol Alice Jalonen passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022. Age 87 years.

Predeceased by her husband Oz. Loving mother of Brett; Trevor and his wife Amanda; Eldon and his wife Liz; Eric and his wife Pam. Dear Aiti of Beth (Dan), Tara (Jason), Dana (Dave), Shon, Lucas, Elaine, Audrey, Nicole, Taylor, Jessica, Sienna, and Mikayla. Great Aiti of Hayden, Hayleigh, Brook-Lynn, Peyton, Gavin, Jack, Aria and Emmi. Dear sister of the late Bill, Alice and Barbara. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held this summer at the Jalonen summer home on Broad River.

A sincere thank you to the staff at Serenity for the excellent care of mom for the past 10 years, and to the staff at the West Parry Sound Health Centre involved with her exceptional care over the past few weeks.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society, or Easter Seals would be appreciated by the family.
