Carla Ann Salt passed away suddenly at home on June 30th, 2021. Age 49 years.

Beloved daughter of Garnet and Arla Barry and the late Marilyn Nelson. Beloved wife of Jessie Salt. Loving mother of Brock. Nookomis of Kona. Dear sister of Debbie, Wayne, Joe, Lyn, Charlotte, Jill, Leon, Owen, Jeff, Kyle, and Gene. Dear aunty of Cedar and Sage. Fondly remembered by her many other relatives and friends.

Cremation to take place. A Celebration of Carla's Life will take place.

She will never be forgotten. She was a solid true friend with the biggest heart ❤. Ill be forever grateful for what she was and how she supported me with my children. Love you.. Until we meet again.

My heart goes out to Carla's husband, family and friends! Carla's presence will be sorely missed. Her presence will never be forgotten she played hard and worked hard! Her sense of humour and laughter filled any room she entered. I feel so grateful to have shared space with her. She was the highlight of my day!

Fly high Aunty. You may be not visible, but I know you’re here. Take care of your men, as they will need you more now than ever. See you later.

What a beautiful soul. Carla touched everyone's heart. I met her when we worked in Toronto and again in the north. I would see her regularly in Shawanaga. My heart felt condolences go to her family and all that knew her. She will be greatly missed.

My niece spoke *debwewin* at times it was hard to hear. But if you heard her words with an open heart you were a much better person for it. As her Aunty I was extremely proud of her! She was on a journey with her husband, Jesse but her purpose on Mother Earth was completed. Always know she walks with each of us!
