BETTY ANNE HEIDMAN (NELSON)
Elizabeth ‘Betty Anne’ Heidman (Nelson) passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, with family by her side, on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025. Age 84 years.
Beloved wife of the late Roy Heidman. Loving mother of Sherry Rivers (the late Dan) and her partner Murray O’Halloran; Dianne Campbell (the late Kevin); and Barbara Nelson. Cherished Nanny of Brian Rivers (Elizabeth), and Amanda Rivers. Adored Great Nanny of Danni-Lynne, Christopher, Cheyanne, Destiny, Isabelle, and Davin. Dear sister of the late Carla (late Dale), late Lloyd (wife Faye), late Larry, and late Carol (late Angus). Lovingly remembered by Katherine Edington; Heather Bouwhuis; and forever missed by Bonnie Stahls, her close friend of 58 years. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Celebration of Life Service at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound, on Monday, July 14th at 1:00 P.M. Visitation prior to the Service from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. Reception to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the West Parry Sound Health Centre palliative care would be appreciated.

Sending my condolences to the family of Betty Anne. My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this difficult time. I had the pleasure of connecting with her on multiple occasions. I was gifted one of her beautiful hand made tea towels which has and will always make me think of her. I know Betty Anne loved her family dearly and now will be watching over each and every person from above and know that wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.
