Condolences

I’m so sorry for your loss. I met Floyd in 2019 at the hunt camp. Very nice man. I wish we would have met years earlier. I’ll miss his sense of humor and his love for the outdoors.

My most sincere condolence’s to all family and friend’s. Floyd and my dad were life long friends. I’ve had the privilege of many conversations of the shenanigan’s they found themselves in in their youth. Always a pleasure to talk with and great story teller.

Hi girls, Sorry to see of your Dad’s passing but he sure did live a good long life. Remembering he and your Mom living on Victoria. Ah, wonderful memories. Met your Dad at WalMart probably 4 years ago and I just had to have a visit. We had a delightful visit in the Wal Mart isle. So glad I stopped to say hi. He seemed happy I recognized him but heck he looked just like I always remembered him. Great music floated through the house on Victoria. Sweet memories. Condolences to all of the family. One more is gone from the old neighbourhood.

My condolences to the family. I knew Floyd all my life, went to school with some of his brothers and sister, worked with him at CIL off and on. The last talk I had with him, I took him a roast of venison. I hope I live as long as he did. Great guy. He will be missed by all that knew him.

So sorry to hear of Ann’s passing. Both she and Ted were involved in the Salvation Army Friday night ministry for many years. They would shop for food and clean the trailer and spend another 5 or 6 hours on duty on the street. There were many times that we would not be effective if it were not for them volunteering. Ann will truly be missed by many but especially by Ted. I had the pleasure of being the best man for there wedding. Ann had a heart of gold.

I had the honour of being Ann’s sister-in-law for 31 years. Ann taught me many things over the years: resilience, determination, how to overcome perceived perceptions, honesty, love and how to be yourself. Ann displayed all these traits. Her love for my brother was unmatched. They lived a full life in their communtiy, through church worship, Community Living activities, including participating in the Special Olympics in Calgary and greeting friends on the street. They travelled to Disney World, Niagara Festival of the Lights and Vancouver. I will always remember Ann’s smile and the joy she showed participating in new experiences. She called my 3 sons the “wee lads” even though they’re adults, and they will definitely remember her with love. I will miss Ann deeply but am so thankful she was in mine and my family’s life.
